At the Goose Creek Golf Academy you can be professionally fit and try clubs before you buy them. We use state of the art launch monitor and video technology combined with hitting golf balls outdoors to discover the best custom fit club for you.
Featured equipment at the Goose Creek Golf Academy are PING, Bridgestone, Cleveland, Srixon, TaylorMade and also high quality custom component clubs such as Wishon and Alpha.
When club fitting, our first goal is to determine the club specifications that best compliment your size, strength, ability and basic swing motion. Specifically, the specifications that will allow you to make square and centered contact and send the ball on a playable trajectory the highest percentage of time.
Our second goal is to determine your most effective set composition. We work with you to determine the specific combination of wedges, irons, hybrids and fairway metals that will work best for you. This set composition that will allow you to achieve maximum distance control.
We strive to make club fitting an educational experience. We want you to clearly understand the goals and the logic behind every step in the process.
From one of our indoor hitting stations you’ll hit balls onto our driving range with a series of specifically selected clubs. We feel that it’s very important that you’re able to see the actual ball flight with each club and supply us with your insights related to trajectory, flight pattern, club feel, and club appearance. Final recommendations are based on ball flight, launch monitor data, your input and our club fitter’s years of experience. All the information is recorded and kept in your personal file.
