Ken Joersz

Hello, my name is Ken Joersz and I have been a member of the PGA since 1990. I really enjoy teaching the game of golf to players of all ages and levels. To add, I am a certified club-fitter for Mizuno Golf Company. Part of my role is to provide specialized club fitting sessions that are both accurate and informative generating specs that can be universally applied to all golf club
manufacturers.

Over the years, I have been fortunate to have conducted clinics with some great instructors and players, namely Jim McClean, Tom Watson, Curtis Strange, and Lee Travino. I have also had
individual training sessions with Hall of Famers, Mark O’Meara and Dave Stockton and short game greats Brad Faxon and Ben Crenshaw. These experiences have significantly improved
my teaching practice and have proven invaluable in advancing my knowledge and analysis of
the game.

Teaching Philosophy:
Overall, my goal is to provide the player with provable and correct concepts in addition to
introducing effective drills that students can readily apply to their game. I often find that players tend to follow misleading advice and popular myths that actually are counterproductive to the
golfer’s development and progress. Unfortunately, young junior players who show amazing promise if left alone to progress naturally, are often tragically derailed by these teachings. My goal as a coach and teacher is to help the player declutter the mind while producing a more athletic and carefree swing.
